What do fish farmers do on holiday?

They go fishing. Lots of fun and lots of fish so it's Trout for every meal!

It's a lot of water!

Three pumps running for two weeks and the gravel pit is finally full it took a while seeing that it is four and a half meters deep! I have connected my old pond to the gravel pit so I can swim right up to my front door. Swimming every lunch and evening is a must with the glorious Oct weather.

The original pond as viewed from the man made mountain is now linked to the new pond via a channel to the left of the above pic and middle of the bottom pic.

To give you an idea of size you can see Terry swimming - he's the little blob on the right!
